Last week: Zac Dysert eclipsed the 10,000-yard career passing mark in Miami's 52-14 loss to rival Cincinnati on Saturday (RECAP). The RedHawks are 3-3 overall and 2-0 in Mid-American Conference play. This week: Miami travels to play MAC foe Bowling Green (3-3, 1-1 MAC) Saturday, Oct. 13 at 3:30 p.m.
Last week: The RedHawks (12-2, 6-0 MAC) extended their winning streak to seven games and remained undefeated in conference play. Miami defeated Western Michigan, 3-0, on Friday (RECAP) and edged Eastern Michigan, 4-3, on Sunday (RECAP). This week: MU goes on the road for a pair of contests against Northern Illinois and Toledo on Friday, Oct. 12 and Sunday, Oct. 14, respectively. Friday's game is at 4 p.m., while Sunday's is at 1 p.m.
Last week: The RedHawks defeated Western Ontario, 6-2, in their lone exhibition game of the 2012-13 season Sunday afternoon at Steve Cady Arena (RECAP). Austin Czarnik led the team with two goals. This week: Miami opens the regular season, playing two games against Colgate Friday, Oct. 12 at 7:35 p.m. and Saturday, Oct. 13 at 7:05 p.m.
Last week: The RedHawks split a pair of home games against Kent State and Indiana over the weekend. Miami downed the Golden Flashes, 4-1, on Saturday (RECAP) and fell to the Hoosiers, 1-0, on Sunday (RECAP). This week: MU hosts Appalachian State Friday, Oct. 12 at 5 p.m.
Last week: The RedHawks lost to Bowling Green, 3-0, on the road on Thursday (RECAP) and fell to Northern Illinois, 3-0, at home on Friday (RECAP). This week: Miami plays two road contests, starting with Central Michigan Thursday, Oct. 11 at 7 p.m. The 'Hawks then face off against Eastern Michigan Saturday, Oct. 13 at 7 p.m.
Last week: Both the men's and women's teams were idle last week. This week: Both teams are scheduled to compete at the Pre-Nationals meet Saturday, Oct. 13 in Louisville, Ky.
Swimming & Diving
This week: The men's team opens its season with the Red & White Intrasquad meet Saturday, Oct. 13 at 10 a.m. The women's team travels to face Purdue Friday, Oct. 19 at 6 p.m.
This week: After a couple weeks off, the RedHawks play in the Firestone Invitational Monday, Oct. 8 through Tuesday, Oct. 9 in Akron.
This week: Miami returns to action for the first time since Sept. 22, playing in the Michigan State Invitational Friday, Oct. 5 through Sunday, Oct. 7.
Coming up: New head coach John Cooper and the Miami University men's basketball team will give fans their first opportunity to get a sneak peak of the 2012-13 squad at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 17 with the Third Annual BBQ & Basketball event at Millett Hall (MORE DETAILS).
This week HawkTawk will be held Thursday at 7 p.m. at Kroger. All fans and students are welcome to attend.
