OXFORD, Ohio – The Miami University Sports Medicine Department held its annual golf outing last Friday at Hueston Woods to raise funds for the Mr. Gale Newton Internship Fund. The Mr. Gale Newton Internship Fund was started two years ago to honor our former head athletic trainer, Gale Newton, for his 30 years of service to the Miami Sports Medicine Department and the Miami University community. The event was a fun-filled day with beautiful weather as golfers played 18 holes and were treated to breakfast and dinner sponsored by Kroger.
