OXFORD, Ohio - The Miami University women's basketball team is working to raise breast cancer awareness throughout the month of February. The RedHawks wore pink jerseys during their games against Akron, Central Michigan and Bowling Green the past three Saturdays, and those jerseys are now available to the general public.

Part of raising awareness includes raising money for research to combat this deadly disease. The Miami women's basketball team will be auctioning off the pink jerseys that they are wearing in those three games. All 12 player jerseys, along with a pair of alternate jerseys (#21 and #23) are available to bid on through Tuesday (Feb. 26) at 5 p.m.

The auction features a three-minute rolling deadline, which means it will conclude once no bids have been placed for three consecutive minutes after the deadline has been reached.

Bidding takes place on the Miami athletic website's auction page, which can be found by clicking here.

This disease has affected the Miami women's basketball family personally this year. Please consider joining the RedHawks as they "Think Pink" and raise money and awareness in the fight.
