Zac Zedrick
Position: Head Coach
Experience: 1 Year
Email: zedriczc@muohio.edu

Zac Zedrick returns for his second season at Miami. With his the entire team returning to go along with a talented recruiting class, he looks to build upon the momentum the program built in his first season.

"I'm really excited about the direction of this program," said Zedrick. "Change is incredibly difficult and behaving in a way that transforms a culture is even more demanding. However, that's what the boys were able to do last season: lay down the foundation for long-term success by establishing standards that guide decision-making in all areas. We're in a place where we can build off of that foundation by continuing to make small improvements each and every day. If we can make it competitive at home and support each other, then I think we'll be alright."

Zedrick came to Miami after spending three seasons as an assistant coach at Wichita State. While at Wichita, he helped lead the Shockers to the Missouri Valley Conference Championship each year. They also participated in the NCAA Regional each season and three golfers earned All-America status. Zedrick aided in all aspects of recruiting for Wichita, while serving as the tournament director for their home tournament, the Diet Pepsi Shocker Classic.

"Zac brings a wealth of energy, experience and integrity to our program, and he has worked with some of the best mentors in the sport of golf," said Athletic Director Brad Bates. "His inherent attributes will have already had an impact on our program and will ensure it continues its trajectory of being one of the premier men's golf programs in the nation."

Prior to his time in Wichita, Zedrick spent two seasons as a Graduate Assistant Coach at Toledo. While there he helped with all aspects of recruiting as well as providing on-course instruction during competitions.

Zedrick was a four-year letterwinner for Michigan State University. He served as team captain in each of his final two years. He was a member of the Academic All-Big Ten team in each of his final three seasons with the Spartans.

Zedrick earned his bachelor's degree in communications from Michigan State. He graduated with High Honors. He earned his master's degree from Toledo in 2008 in recreation management with an emphasis in athletic administration. He lives in Oxford with his wife Amanda.
