Millett Hall has been the home of Miami University men's basketball since opening its doors on Dec. 2, 1968, when Miami played host to the University of Kentucky, led by Adolph Rupp and Dan Issel. Miami, in front of 9,135 spectators, lost that game, 86-77, but gained its first victory with an 86-67 triumph over Bellarmine two days later. The 9,200-seat arena, which has been downsized for basketball in recent years to 6,400, has provided the Red and White a strong homecourt advantage as Miami has won 75 percent of its all-time games at Millett Hall.

A record 76,817 spectators played a key role in Miami's 12-0 1998-99 season. The RedHawks averaged a single-season best 6,401 fans. On Dec. 15, 1976, Miami set a Millett Hall attendance record hosting Cincinnati in front of a whopping 10,634 spectators. The 2004-05 season saw the RedHawks posting a 13-0 record during the regular season en route to the program's 21st Mid-American Conference title and recording a 13-1 home record, the most home wins in a season by a Miami team.

Millett Hall offers prime seating, courtside seats, a state of the art LED announcement board, concessions, and souvenirs. Restrooms are offered throughout the concourse level, including family restrooms.

Please note that Miami is a smoke-free campus
