OXFORD, Ohio—The last non-conference date on the Miami University men’s basketball schedule has been set, and the RedHawks will play at Ohio State on Monday, Dec. 22.
This marks the eighth meeting between the programs with the Buckeyes holding a 5-2 advantage in the series. Miami last played Ohio State on Dec. 22, 2011 at Nationwide Arena, falling 69-40. The Red White’s last win in the series came in the opening round of the NIT on March 17, 1993, 56-53.
The RedHawks tip off the season in Millett Hall on Sunday, Nov. 16 against Southern Utah after hosting an exhibition game against Edinboro in a tune up for the season on Saturday, Nov. 8.
In addition to an 18-game Mid-American Conference schedule that will be announced at a later day and includes nine home tilts, Miami will play 13 non-conference games with eight of those hosted in Millett Hall. The RedHawks’ 17 home games are the most hosted in a season in program history.
