CLEVELAND—Miami University senior forward Will Felder (Cleveland, Ohio/Lutheran East) was named to the All-Mid-American Conference Second Team, the league office announced Monday afternoon. This is the second straight year Felder has been named to an All-MAC team, earning honorable mention honors as a junior last season.
Felder ranks among MAC leaders in seven statistical categories this season, including scoring, field goal percentage, rebounding, free throw percentage, blocked shots, offensive rebounds and defensive rebounds. He is averaging 14.6 ppg and 6.9 rpg on the season for the RedHawks and averaged 14.9 ppg and 6.6 rpg in MAC play.
Twice this season he has scored 26 points, the most by a Miami player in 2013-14, and has recorded five 20-point efforts this season and three double-doubles. Felder was tabbed MAC East Division Co-Player of the Week on Jan. 27 after spearheading Miami to wins over Central Michigan and Bowling Green.
A transfer from Saint Francis (Pa.) after two years with the Red Flash, Felder has played in every game over the past two years and started all but two.
