In many ways her face was as synonymous with Miami University men's basketball as those who have donned the Red & White over the past quarter century. Corrine Osterberger, a program associate at Miami University who was the secretary for the men's basketball staff for the past 26 years, passed away suddenly on Sunday, May 1 at the age of 63.

Corrine was born in Pineville, Ky., on Nov. 26, 1947, and is the daughter of the late Woodrow and Virginia (Smith) Hensley. She married Michael Osterberger on May 21, 1966, and is survived by her husband of over 44 years; daughter, Gina Sergent; two grandchildren, Aaron (Jessica) Sergent and Kady Layne Sergent; two great-grandchildren, Olivia Laine Sergent and Brysonn Ault; seven sisters and brothers, Lorene Moore, Ruth (Johnny) Kidd, Dora (Rocky) Whicker, Nevada (Shady) Lovins, Woody (Duanna) Hensley, Montana Hensley and Renee Huffman; brother-in-law, Rene (Gayla) Osterberger; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Corrine was also preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Keith Moore, and niece, Jessica Williams.

Funeral services will be held at Webb Noonan Kidd Funeral Home, 240 Ross Avenue, Hamilton, Ohio 45013, at 11 a.m. on Thursday, May 5. Entombment will follow at Butler County Memorial Park. Family and friends will be received on Wednesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
