2013: Added pitching duties to his repetoire for his senior season... made 18 appearances on the mound and another five in the infield... started three games in total... made his first career pitching start on April 17 against Eastern Kentucky... earned the win in four scheduled innings, striking out a career-best start.... finished the year with a 2.0 record and 4.91 ERA... gained his second win four days later with 1.2 innings of effective relief against Ball State... allowed 18 runs (14 earned) and 36 hits in 25.2 innings... struck out 21 against 16 walks... his longest relief stint was three innings vs. Xavier on April 10... fanned three that day... threw one or more scoreless innings six times... opened at third base against Wright State on April 9 and at shortstop at Dayton on April 23... was hitless in four at-bats... scored a run against North Dakota State after walking in a pinch-hit situation... also walked once against Wright State... had one error in 14 chances (.929).
