2012: Miami's leading tackler with 107 stops ... a starter at SAM linebacker in every game this season ... had eight tackles against Kent State ... recorded 13 tackles against Buffalo ... had 11 tackles against Ohio including one for a loss and for the fifth straight game he led the team in tackles  ... against Cincinnati he led in tackles for the fourth straight game. He had 12 stops, one short of a career high. Reaching double figures for the fifth straight game, he addes 1/2 tackle for loss, a forced funble and a quaterback hurry ... he totaled 11 tackles, including eight solo stops and one QBH against Massachusetts ... he recorded a personal-best 13 tackles (1 TFLs) at Boise State, one more stop than he had in his first 2 seasons at Miami (2010 & '11) ... he's one of five native Louisianians on Miami's roster ... majors in engineering management and minors in finance, and has a cumulative GPA of 3.2.

SCOUTING REPORT: Heads into fall drills as the team’s No. 1 Sam linebacker ... among Miami’s linebackers, Wade is one of the strongest bench-pressers at 315 pounds.

2011: Appeared in 11 games ... finished the season with 11 total tackles, recording a season-high three against Western Michigan (Nov. 16) ... among 120 Division I teams nationwide, he helped RedHawks rank 22nd in tackles for loss, 24th in passing defense, 36th in first down defense and 39th in scoring defense.

2010: Earned his first varsity letter, appearing in four games ... his lone tackle came vs. Ohio.

2009: Redshirted.

HIGH SCHOOL: Northshore High School's Athlete of the Year as both a junior and senior, winning letters in football, basketball, track and field, and power lifting ... won all-district and all-parish honors ... he ranked among the top 15 percent of his class in grade-point average and was a member of the Honors Society ... prep football coach was Mike Bourg.

PERSONAL: Born November 22, 1990 ... son of Marie Wade ... a 3.0+ student at Miami, he majors in engineering management.
