WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – The Miami University golf team finished 15th at the Boilermaker Invitational after shooting a third round score of 311 on Sunday. The RedHawks were 63-over par for the tournament. Louisville and Iowa tied for the tournament championship at 14-over par.

Sophomore Luke Shaughnessy was the top individual for Miami at Purdue. After shooting a five-over par 77 on Sunday, he tied for 37th at 11-over par. Freshman Bud Radis was right behind him at 12-over par, tying for 41st.

Redshirt junior Mark MacDonald finished in a tie for 62nd at 17-over par. Freshman Jack Sparling tied for 75th at 23-over par, while freshman Daniel Schwarz was 85th at 32-over par.

Miami will next be in action at the 2013 Mid-American Conference Championship, May 4-6 at the Longaberger Golf Course in Nashport, Ohio. The 72-hole tournament will feature 36 holes on Friday, May 4 and single rounds of 18 holes each of the next two days.
