CLEVELAND - The Mid-American Conference announced its All-Academic Volleyball Team on Thursday. Making the squad for the RedHawks were senior Lisa Treadway (Dayton, Ohio) and sophomore Meg Riley (St. Louis, Mo.).

For Treadway it is the second straight season she was honored with a spot on the MAC All-Academic Team. She finished her senior season tied for third on the team with 166 kills (1.50 per set) and also was second with 246 digs (2.22 per set). Treadway became the 10th non-libero to record 1,000 career digs at Miami and finished her career third among non-liberos and sixth all-time with 1,225 digs

This is Riley's first Academic All-MAC honor. She was already named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District V team. A First-Team All-MAC selection, Riley led the RedHawks with 360 kills, an average of 3.27 per set. She was fifth on the team with 201 digs and second on the 'Hawks with 475 assists. A six-rotation player, she is in the setter position when in the back row, and becomes an outside hitter in the front row. Riley hit a team-best .272 for the season.

Earning Honorable Mention Academic All-MAC honors were Sarah Chaney, Madison Dodd, Jenny Ingle and Christina Menche.
