2014: Logged 48 games, starting 47 in the outfield (29 in left, 18 in center) … batted .305 and drew 19 walks for a .369 on-base percentage … scored 19 runs and racked up 24 RBI … finished the season on a 14-game hitting streak (tied for the team high) while reaching base in his final 18 games (second longest) … recorded 16 multi-hit games, seven of which came during his hitting streak … stole seven bases in 12 attempts … posted three hits in a game three times: versus Western Michigan (3/21), at Eastern Michigan (4/20) and against Eastern Kentucky (4/23) … went 2-for-4 with a double and a season-high three RBI at Cincinnati (4/1) … hit .417 in the MAC Tournament.

2012: Earned Freshman All-America honors from the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association after one of the best seasons in school history … was named first team All-Midwest Region by the American Baseball Coaches Association … voted the Mid-American Conference Freshman of the Year and a first-team all-league selection … was one of three players on the team to participate in all 59 games … opened 57 of those, coming off the bench as a pinch-runner on Feb. 18 (game one) and as a pinch-hitter on April 22 … made 26 starts in left field, 17 starts in center field and 14 starts as the designated hitter … batted a team-high .395 with 26 runs batted in … the average ranked 14th nationally … led the team in on-base percentage (.443), hits, (92/fourth-most in school history), triples (tied with two), total bases (103) and sacrifice bunts (seven) … recorded seven doubles … walked 15 times and was hit on five occasions … struck out only 13 times, ranking him the 14th toughest player in Division I to strike out … led the team with 31 multiple-hit games … registered four hits on three occasions -- twice against Toledo (March 31, April 1) and at Kent State (May 12) … had three hits on six occasions and a pair 22 times … drove in multiple runs six times, including a career-best three at Furman Feb. 18 (game two) … had the team's longest hitting streak of the year, ending the season on a 16-game run … hit safely in eight straight three others times … held a .400 average as late as the conference tournament, but went 4-for-13 in the final three games … had three errors in 93 chances, a .968 fielding percentage.

HIGH SCHOOL: A four-year letterman in baseball … named first-team all state as a senior … was selected to the region and district all-tournament in 2011 … led the Titans to a KHSAA Region 12 championshio and a state runner-up finish … they were also district champions, posting a 28-10 record … had a batting average of .488 and and on-base percentage of .556 … went 9-2 as a pitcher with an ERA of 3.46 his senior season … earned three letter in basketball and one in football … MCHS finished 22-9 on the court his senior season, winning the district title … was a 2011 all-state academic athlete … was a member of the Key Club and Beta Club … graduated with high honors.
