OXFORD, Ohio -- The Miami Tennis team closes out the 2013 regular-season schedule on Saturday when it travels to Northern Illinois to face the Huskies. Already assured of the No. 1 seed and a share of the Mid-American Conference title, the RedHawks will win the title outright with a victory or a loss by Akron.

Miami (10-12, 6-1) is led by Nimisha Mohan, who was named Mid-American Conference Player of the Week on Wednesday after winning all four of her matches last weekend. She is 22-10 overall, including 14-8 in dual matches and 6-4 at No. 1. Alix Thurman has a 21-11 record in 2012-13 with 10 of those wins coming at the No. 2 position. Christiana Raymond looks to cap an undefeated season in league play, posting a 7-0 mark at No. 3.

Northern Illinois (14-9, 0-7) has been eliminated from MAC Tournament contention and lost 5-2 to Ball State on Friday. The Huskies are led by sophomore Nelle Youel, who tied their school record with her 26th victory of the season against the Cardinals.

Miami will open MAC Tournament next Saturday at 10 a.m. against the winner of the 4-5 quarterfinal match. Ball State is hosting this year's championship.
