Boilemaker Invitational - Scores Through 2 Rounds Get Acrobat Reader

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – The Miami University men’s golf team is in 15th place after two rounds of the Boilermaker Invitational. The RedHawks shot a team score of 319 in the first round and improved that by 10 strokes with a 309 in the afternoon’s second round. Miami is currently 52-over par for the event. Kent State and Iowa are tied for the lead at 11-over par.

Ben Peacock was the Red and White’s top individual golfer on Saturday. After shooting a seven-over par 79 in the morning, he came back with an even par 72 in the second round, the best round by a Miami golfer on the day. He is currently tied for 29th at seven-over par.

Mark MacDonald shot a three-over par 75 in the second round, the second-best score by a RedHawk on Saturday. Combined with an 81 in the first round, he is tied for 52nd at 12-over par.

Other golfer for Miami included Brett Tomfohrde, who is tied for 69th at 16-over par. Luke Shaughnessy is tied for 80th at 19-over par, while Scott Cahill is tied for 88th at 22-over par.

The Boilermaker Invitational concludes with one final round of 18 holes on Sunday.
