HAMILTON, Ohio – In the final contest of a three-match homestand, the Miami University women’s tennis team picked up its third victory of the season with a win over Cincinnati, 4-3. Freshman Andreea Badileanu won the match point with a 6-1, 7-5 showing at No. 2 singles.

Miami improved to 3-0 on the season following the win while the Bearcats dropped to 1-4.

Miami prevailed at No. 3 singles thanks to a strong 6-1 showing by junior Ramona Costea and senior Christiana Raymond.

Miami started things off well in singles play as Rajkovic won 6-3, 6-0 at No. 6 competition, Costea came out on top by a score of 6-2, 6-3 at No. 5 singles and Mohan downed her opponent 6-4, 6-2 at No. 3 singles. With the match score sitting at 3-1, Miami needed one more point to clinch the win.
