OXFORD, Ohio - Behind five individual first-place finishes and three relay titles, Miami University swimmers captured the team title at the Tim Myers Ohio Senior Championships. The event was hosted by Miami at the Nixon Aquatic Center.

Performances by 14 RedHawk swimmers totaled 1,176 points, out-distancing runner-up Cincinnati Aquatics by 536 points.

Individual titlists included Kayla Scott (100 and 200 breaststroke), Kelly Rogers (1650 freestyle), Sara Krueger (50 freestyle), Annie Marquiss (100 freestyle).

In relay finals, Miami won the 200 freestyle relay (Sara Krueger, Natalie Rohr, Ellen Barhorst and Marquiss), the 200 medley relay (Rohr, Scott Gabby Veri and Marquiss), and the 400 freestyle relay (Barhorst, Rohr, Sara Krueger and Marquiss).

Runner-up finishes were recorded by RedHawks Scott (100 butterfly), Laura Krueger (200 butterfly), and Katie Blodgett (500 freestyle and 400 individual medley).

Other key contributors for Miami included Stephanie Nemeth, C.C. Fujan, Emma Craig, Cristina Favia and Shannon Ahearn.
