OXFORD, Ohio - The 2012 Miami University women's soccer team gathered one last time to celebrate perhaps the most successful season in school history Saturday, as the RedHawks held their postseason banquet at the Gross Student-Athlete Development Center.

The team and their families enjoyed a reception and buffet dinner to start the banquet. Head coach Bobby Kramig then spoke and handed out all the accolades the RedHawks had earned throughout the year, including academic awards, All-Ohio, MAC and All-American honors.

During the 2012 season, Miami won its second MAC regular-season title in program history and fourth MAC Tournament championship, the first since 2002 for each. The RedHawks also beat Tennessee in the first round of the NCAA Tournament and finished with a school record 20 wins, including going unbeaten in MAC play at 10-0-1.

Senior captain Jess Kodiak then delivered the lone senior speech at the banquet, to cap the evening.

Later Saturday night, at Miami's hockey game, the team was recognized during the second intermission for its tremendous achievements.
