BG's Dave Clawson on playing Miami

Bowling Green head coach Dave Clawson spoke with the media during the weekly MAC teleconference on Monday. Here's what he had to say about playing Miami at home this Saturday.

Undefeated RedHawks?

"The one thing about Miami is you've got to look at who they've played. They are a 3-3 football team, but in some ways I look at them as an undefeated football team. Their three losses are to an undefeated Ohio State, an undefeated Cincinnati and a nationally ranked Boise State, so if you take away those three games, they are averaging almost 500 yards a game on offense and almost 40 points. I think they're an excellent offense and they are very dangerous."

Tough Sledding

"Their schedule has been very, very difficult. They have played one of the toughest schedules in the conference and even the country. You just cant look at the numbers, you have to look at who've they've played."

"I think their offensive line is playing much more cohesively than the line we played against a year ago. I think they've made huge improvements across the board on offense and Dysert just looks very comfortable executing what they are trying to get done."

Gun Slinger

"I don't know if you stop him (Dysert). You just have to find ways to get stops and keep points off the board. He's outstanding. He can make every throw. Watching some film today, he makes every NFL throw."
