OXFORD, Ohio - Closing out their respective seasons with strong performances, sophomore wide receiver Dawan Scott and senior outside hitter Lisa Treadway have been named the Miami Athletes of the Week connected by Frontier Communications for the week of Nov. 19-25.

Scott (Columbia, S.C.) scored a pair of touchdowns in Miami's season-ending loss to Ball State Friday. His first score came on a 3-yard run out of the "Wildcat" formation for his first career rushing touchdown. Scott then scored again on a 34-yard reception later in the contest for his third multi-touchdown game this year. He finished with nine catches, which were the second-most in his career, for 120 receiving yards, his second 100-yard receiving game this year and fourth of his career. Scott added 13 rushing yards on three carries, as well.

In the final match of her career, Treadway (Dayton, Ohio) put on a show in leading the RedHawks to a 3-1 victory over Cincinnati Saturday. She finished with 10 kills and just missed a double-double with nine digs. Treadway had only one attack error in 18 attempts for a fantastic hitting percentage of .500. She also had two block assists in the match.

The Miami Athlete of the Week honor is the first of both Scott's and Treadway's careers.
