WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. -- Miami's successful weekend at the ITA Ohio Valley Regional ended Sunday, but not before another victory. Junior Christiana Raymond won her consolation quarterfinal in the morning before dropping a three-set heartbreaker later in the day.

The Columbus native then teamed with sophomore Christine Guerrazzi in the doubles consolation final, but came up short, 8-6 to the fourth-seeded team from Purdue, Daniela Vidal and Lynda Xepoleas.

Raymond started the day with an impressive 7-6 (7-4), 2-6, 6-3 victory over Skylar Kuykendall of Memphis to reach the final four of the consolation bracket. Vidal bested her there as well, winning 6-3, 4-6, 6-1.

The competition concludes the fall schedule for the RedHawks. The dual-match portion of the schedule begins Saturday, January 19 with a match against Indiana at Cincinnati's Western Hills Tennis Club.
