OXFORD, Ohio – Kickoff times and telecast originations for Miami University's 2012 football games were announced today by the Mid-American Conference (MAC), and every home game at Yager Stadium will begin between 12 noon and 3:30 p.m. ET.

After opening its season on the road against Ohio State (Sept. 1), Coach Don Treadwell's RedHawks will face non-conference foe Southern Illinois on Saturday, Sept. 8 (1 p.m.) in Oxford. Miami's Homecoming game is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 22 (12 noon) vs. UMass in the Minutemen's MAC debut. The third game at Yager will be a Family Weekend clash against Ohio on Saturday, Oct. 27 (3:30 p.m.). Miami hosts Kent State on Saturday, Nov. 10 (1 p.m.) and Ball State on Friday, Nov. 23 (time TBA).

In addition to the Sept. 1 opener at Ohio State (12 noon, Big Ten Network), Miami will play Saturday road games at Boise State (Sept. 15, 4 p.m. ET, NBC Sports Network), at Akron (Sept. 29, 2 p.m.), at Cincinnati (Oct. 6, time TBA, Fox Sports Ohio), at Bowling Green (Oct. 13, 3:30 p.m. ET, BCSN & ESPN3), at Buffalo (Nov. 3, 12 noon) and at Central Michigan (Nov. 17, time TBA).

Miami will not play any November weeknight home games this coming season.

The 15th Annual MAC Championship Game will be played on Friday, Nov. 30, at Ford Field in Detroit.

"Our team is very excited about our 2012 schedule," said Treadwell. "As is tradition at Miami, it's filled with challenging competition from top to bottom, starting with the opener at Ohio State on September 1. We'll really need our fans' support, especially at our five home games. Just like we tell our players, we want our fans to be `All in at all times.'"
