OXFORD, Ohio -- Baltimore Ravens' head coach JOHN HARBAUGH will headline Miami University's annual Cradle of Coaches Clinic on June 1 in Oxford.
High school football coaches throughout the Midwest are invited to attend the afternoon-long clinic featuring the successful NFL coach and the entire RedHawk staff. There will be a cookout after the clinic.
Harbaugh, a Miami graduate, is the only head coach in NFL history (since the 1970 merger) to win a playoff game in each of his first four seasons. Additionally, with Harbaugh at the helm, Baltimore is the only NFL team to win at least one playoff game in each of the past four seasons - and the only club to make the postseason in each of those four years (2008-11).
"Harbs" has led the Ravens to 49 total victories during this span, tying New Orleans for the league's third-most wins (one behind New England and Pittsburgh - both with 50). Baltimore's 44 regular season victories under Harbaugh rank fourth most in the NFL since 2008, while he has also guided the Ravens to two AFC Championship games (2008 and 2011.
RedHawks head coach Don Treadwell and his staff of John Klacik (offensive coordinator), Jay Peterson (defensive coordinator), Matt Edwards (special teams coordinator), Nick Siatras (defensive line and recruiting coordinator), Mike Bath (quarterbacks), Ed Stults (offensive line) and Ron Carpenter (defensive backs) will also have presentations at the Farmer School of Business's Taylor Auditorium.
Registration begins at 2 p.m. on Friday, June 1. Individuals can pre-register at a cost of $40 by calling (513) 529-3319. The registration cost on the day of the event will be $50.
