May 13, 2011

Following its historic season in 2010, Miami University's football team is back in the headlines and on the cusp of national significance. To celebrate its Mid-American Conference championship and to look forward to what promises to be a highly exciting 2011 campaign, new RedHawk coach Don Treadwell and members of his staff will soon be heading to selected cities around the state of Ohio and in Chicago.

A distinguished product of the legendary Cradle of Coaches, Coach Treadwell is anxious to re-introduce himself and members of the football program throughout the summer, and will be traveling to five locations throughout Ohio and to Chicago to engage with fellow Miami University alumni and fans.

June's travel itinerary includes stops in Columbus, Cleveland, Toledo, Cincinnati, Dayton and Chicago.

Informational emails with details about the events will be sent out to Miami fans in each host city the week of May 16.

The 2011 football schedule, which begins on September 3 at Missouri, includes six home games. Bowling Green (Sept. 24), Cincinnati (Oct. 1), Army (Oct. 8), Buffalo (Oct. 29), Akron (Nov. 3) and Western Michigan (Nov. 16) will all travel to Oxford for contests at Yager Stadium.
