2012: Turvy appeared in eleven games during the 2012 season ... in the game against Southern Illinois he caught his first career pass in the third quarter, a five-yard reception from Dysert.

SCOUTING REPORT: A walkon, he will try to earn back-up status behind Andy Cruse at the “X” wide receiver position.

2011: Redshirted.

HIGH SCHOOL: A three-time football letter winner at Bishop Fenwick High School under Coach Fred Cranford, he had 1,526 all-purpose yards and scored 12 touchdowns his senior year ... the 2010 team MVP and captain averaged 22.2 yards per reception, winning first-team league honors ... also a first-teamer on Dayton's All-Area squad, he averaged 7.2 yards per carry.

PERSONAL: Born August 20, 1992 in Kettering, Ohio, he's the son of Roger and Betty Turvy ... dad played football at Miami from 1957-60, serving as captain his senior year (1960) ... a sister, Mary, is a sophomore at Miami University ... an Honors student in high school, Jimmy is a pre-dentistry major at Miami.
