BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – In their fourth dual match of the season, the Miami University women’s tennis team lost to Indiana, 7-0. Miami lost all three doubles matches and the six singles matches in their first road match of the season.

The loss for the RedHawks (3-1, 0-0 MAC) marked their first of the season while Indiana (6-0, 0-0 BIG TEN) continued their win streak in 2014 match play.

At No. 2 singles, Miami freshman Andreea Badileanu took her match to three sets en route to a 7-5, 4-6. 1-0 (10-7) loss to Indiana’s Carolyn Chupa. At No. 4 singles, senior Nimisha Mohan also forced her No. 4 singles match into a third set before falling 6-2, 3-6, 1-0 (10-5) to the Hoosiers’ Sophie Garre. At No. 5 singles, Junior Ramona Costea also took her match to a third set before surrendering a 6-1, 2-6, 1-0 (10-7) loss to IU’s Paula Gutierrez.

Miami returns to action tomorrow for a 3 p.m. start against IUPUI in Hamilton, Ohio at the Riverside Athletic Club.
