OXFORD, Ohio – Despite dropping in the rankings, the Miami hockey team finds itself not far from the top 10 in both major polls this week.

The RedHawks check in at No. 12 in the USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine poll while the USCHO.com poll puts MU at No. 13. Miami fell from eighth, the first time this season it has been ranked out of the top-10, after dropping two games at Omaha last weekend.

Minnesota is still the No. 1 team in both polls while National Collegiate Hockey Conference members St. Cloud State (No. 2/No. 2), Omaha (No. 15/17) and Minnesota Duluth (No. 18/RV) are also ranked in at least one poll.

The Red and White play their final non-conference series of the season when they travel to Bemidji State this weekend. Game one on Friday starts at 8:37 p.m. ET.
