Oxford, Ohio – Miami University Trademarks and Licensing, along with their trademark management company, the Licensing Resource Group, encourage fans to get their "glow on” in celebration of the inaugural puck drop of the National Collegiate Hockey Conference on October 18. The Miami hockey team will take on new conference rival University of North Dakota for the October 18 - 19 weekend series at Steve "Coach" Cady Arena at the Goggin Ice Center.
This provides a unique branding opportunity both inside Goggin when the lights are lowered for player introductions, and outside at night as fans make their way to and from games and around Oxford.
The Miami Hockey glow in the dark shirt is available exclusively at the Miami University bookstore, Goggin Ice Center Pro Shop, and online at www.MiamiOH.edu/Bookstore. The first 300 people to purchase the shirt will receive a limited-edition NCHC inaugural season poster.
When fans purchase officially licensed gear, a portion of the sale helps fund scholarships.
