ANN ARBOR, Mich.- The Miami University men’s golf team finished eighth in The Wolverine Intercollegiate Tournament Tuesday.  The RedHawks shot a final round of 11-over par 295 to finish the tournament 19-over par with a final score of 871. Michigan State ended up winning the tournament with a final round of four-over par 280 to finish with a score of one-under par 851.

Junior Luke Shaughnessy and sophomore Jack Sparling both tied for ninth place in the tournament after shooting one-over par with a final score of 214.

Senior Mark MacDonald and junior Scott Cahill also had a tie, both placing 37th after shooting nine-over par with a final score of 222. Sophomore Daniel Schwarz tied for 46th after shooting 13-over par with a final score of 226.

The Miami University men’s golf team will be traveling to Zionsville, Ind. to participate in the Wolf Run Intercollegiate Tournament this coming weekend.
