On Wednesday, March 13, the Oxford Chamber of Commerce, McCullough Hyde Memorial Hospital and Miami University Athletics hosted the Third Annual Ladies Luncheon at the Shriver Center on the Miami University campus.
The event was an opportunity for local businesses to showcase themselves and to show the community the many great products and services offered in Oxford, while simultaneously providing an uplifting message, health screenings and a healthy lunch. This year’s guest speaker was Pamela Webber, Senior Vice President of PNC Real Estate Banking. She spoke about work-life balance and reminded all women to stay balanced in their lives not only for their personal health and family but also their work life.
There were over 20 vendors from the Oxford community present from Paisley’s on High, Luna Blu Salon to health screenings from McCullough Hyde. Over 100 women from the community also attended and enjoyed an afternoon of fun and relaxation at the Shriver Center.
"This event and partnership represents the commitment to the greater good of the community and today it happens to be focused on women's health. We look forward to working with the chamber during the upcoming football season as the Oxford business community 'Paints the Town Red' with enthusiasm and support for our student-athletes," states Anthony J. Azama, Oxford Chamber of Commerce Board Chair and Miami Assistant Athletics Director.
Miami Athletics continues to build relationships and partnerships in the community, and this is just one example. Miami Athletics looks forward to partnering again with the chamber and hospital next year!
