OXFORD, Ohio - Talawanda School District is a district on the move!  It has been rated "Excellent" by the Ohio Department of Education for the last several years and has recently received national recognition for increasing achievement by High Schools That Work.

The quality of a school district depends on the quality of its leaders and educators.  At the core of leadership is a deep knowledge of the field in which one works, a willingness to take risks, a scope of vision and thinking that looks beyond individual services, and capacity for working collaboratively to meet the needs of all.

To respond to the accelerating growth in education and constantly changing demands, communication and strong collaborative partnerships is the key.  Today, Talawanda and Miami want to recognize Mrs. Holli Morrish, Director of Communications in the Talawanda School District.

Talawanda School District truly values the partnership with Miami University.  As Co-Chair, Holli participates in shared collaborative leadership and leads by doing.  Mrs. Morrish uses data to promote the rational for new programs.  Her ability to support, build relationships, and mentor others is valued. Mrs. Morrish is recognized for her leadership, creativity, innovation, and excellence in the field.
