Individual Notes

  • With 343 passing yards, Zac Dysert moved up four spots to 22nd on the NCAA's FBS career passing chart. He climbed ahead of Gino Guidugli (Cincinnati/2001-04), David Green (Georgia/2001-04), Russell Wilson (N.C. State and Wisconsin/2008-11) and Brady Quinn (Notre Dame/2003-06). Dysert's current total of 10,795 ranks third in MAC history.

  • Nick Harwell finished the game with 11 catches for 215 yards, the third-highest receiving total in school history. Harwell has topped 200 two other times in his career, including a school-record 229 at Temple in 2011. He reached triple digits for the 16th time in his career, besting the school record of 15 held by Martin Nance (2002 -05).

  • Nick Harwell's 68-yard touchdown reception from Zac Dysert late in the first quarter was the longest play from scrimmage this season. It topped a 64-yard non-scoring connection between the two in the Bowling Green game and was Harwell's third-longest reception in his career.

  • With the first-quarter touchdown, Nick Harwell moved into third on Miami's career TD receptions list. He now has 23, passing Ryne Robinson (2003-06).

  • Luke Swift totaled six receptions a new career high. He previously had five against Bowling Green in 2009.

  • Kaleb Patterson kicked a 39-yard field goal in the third quarter, the ninth time in 11 game he has registered a successful kick. The true freshman has converted 14 of 17 field goals, including 10 of his last 11. Patterson is 11 of 13 from on kicks from 30 or more yards.

  • Sophomore defensive back Jarrell Jones made his first career start on Saturday. He has seven previous appearances this season.
