2014-15 Men's Basketball Schedule

OXFORD, Ohio—Miami University’s men’s basketball team unveiled its complete schedule Wednesday afternoon with the announcement of the Mid-American Conference portion of the RedHawks’ 2014-15 slate.

Miami opens MAC play with home games against Buffalo on Wednesday, Jan. 7 and Eastern Michigan on Saturday, Jan. 10. The RedHawks have four of their next five on the road with games at Central Michigan (Jan. 14) and at Buffalo (Jan. 17) before a home tilt with Western Michigan on Wednesday, Jan. 21. Trips to Northern Illinois (Jan. 24) and Toledo (Jan. 27) round out the stretch.

Returning to Millett Hall, Miami hosts Ball State on Saturday, Jan. 31 and Northern Illinois on Wednesday, Feb. 4. Miami again plays four of five games on the road in the month of February. Trips to Kent State (Feb. 7) and Eastern Michigan (Feb. 10) precede the RedHawks’ home game against long-time rival Ohio on Saturday, Feb. 14. Miami will retire Charlie Coles’ jersey No. 10 during the Feb. 14 game against the Bobcats. The RedHawks then travel to Bowling Green (Feb. 18) and Akron (Feb. 21).

Miami returns home to host its final three games of the regular season, entertaining Kent State on Tuesday, Feb. 24, Bowling Green on Saturday, Feb. 28 and Akron on Tuesday, March 3. The RedHawks conclude the regular season at Ohio on Friday, March 6.

The men’s and women’s basketball teams will have six home doubleheaders throughout the season. Two come during non-conference play on Nov. 22 and Dec. 3 and four occur during MAC action on Jan. 10, Jan. 31, Feb. 14 and Feb. 28.

Seventeen home games highlight the 2014-15 Miami men’s basketball schedule with eight coming in non-conference action and nine played during the MAC season.
