OXFORD, Ohio – While hockey season is still a month away from starting, there will be plenty of excitement on the ice at Steve Cady Arena next week.
The Miami hockey team is hosting its annual pro camp Sept. 1-5. Seventeen former RedHawks have confirmed that they will attend as they prepare for the 2014-15 season, while up to four more players may end up joining the camp roster. More roster details will be available on the first day of camp.
Camp begins with the first practice on Monday from 10-11 a.m. The itinerary for the next three days includes a goalie session and open ice from 7:30-8:15 a.m., followed by practice sessions for all players from 8:30-9:30 a.m. The new weight room will also be available for the pros to use for the first time.
An altered schedule will be run as camp concludes on Friday. The goalie/open-ice session runs from 10-10:30 a.m. and the group practice session goes from 10:45-11:45 a.m.
All practice sessions are open to the public and free to attend for fans getting ready for an exciting 2014-15 hockey season.
