OXFORD, Ohio – Miami University Athletics will play host to local groups tomorrow when the RedHawks take on the Thundering Herd of Marshall at 3:30 p.m. at Yager Stadium for Youth Day.

Local Youth Football
As part of Youth Day, several local football teams will be in attendance and will play at halftime of the game. These groups include:

Hamilton Little Blue, led by Ken Beaman
New Richmond Jr. Lions, led Ty Powers
Ross Little Rams, led by Dan Brady

The organizations have a half-dozen teams that will be represented.

Special Recognition
Local youth football teams are not the only ones who will be on the field on Saturday, as Miami Athletics will recognize its own championship teams from the 2013-14 year. This includes a total of six teams - baseball, women's cross country, collegiate synchronized skating, women's tennis, women's soccer and field hockey. Teams able to attend will be recognized following the first quarter of the game.

The game, a White Out, is sponsored by G&J Pepsi Bottling Company of Hamilton, the official soft drink provider of Miami Athletics.

Looking Ahead
After facing Marshall on Saturday, Miami turns around to host Eastern Kentucky on Saturday, September 6 at 3:30 p.m. at Yager Stadium. The EKU game is Band Day in Oxford and will include approximately a dozen local high school bands. In addition, Miami Football great Travis Prentice will have his jersey retired and the program will celebrate several championship anniversaries.
