BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Wet conditions and a stormy forecast forced the cancellation of Wednesday night’s baseball game between Miami and Indiana.

The RedHawks and Hoosiers were originally slated to start at 6:05 p.m., but the start time was initially pushed back to 7:30 p.m. The current conditions and the evening’s forecast did not provide a window to begin play. Wednesday night’s contest will not be made up.

Miami is back on the diamond on Friday when it begins a three-game weekend series against Mid-American Conference foe Akron. First pitch at McKie Field at Hayden Park is scheduled for 6 p.m.
