OXFORD, Ohio – After a three-match trip on the road, the Miami University women’s tennis team returns home on Sunday when they take on Marshall at 10 a.m. The dual match will take place indoors the Riverside Athletic Club in Hamilton.

Miami (6-2, 0-0) has won their last two matches while Marshall (7-2, 0-0) comes in with a four-match win streak on the line.

Miami has compiled an impressive 30-14 record in singles play through their first eight dual matches while accumulating an 8-13 mark in doubles action during that span.

Freshman Andreea Badileanu leads the RedHawks with a 7-1 record split between No. 2 and No. 3 singles. Sophomore Ana Rajkovic trails closely behind with her 6-1 showing at No. 6 singles while senior Nimisha Mohan has a 6-2 record split between No. 1, 2, 3 and 4 singles.

Marshall’s 7-2 record includes wins against No. 57 Penn State, Minnesota, Iowa State and Penn while their two losses came against No. 40 Kentucky and No. 52 Virginia Tech. The Herd hold a combined 36-18 singles record in match play this season and a 13-11 doubles record.

Miami heads to Nebraska next weekend for a pair of matches in Lincoln. On Saturday, March 8 the Red and White take on Wyoming at noon before returning on Sunday, March 9 for another noon match, this time against Nebraska. Miami heads back home on Saturday, March 22 when they kick-off Mid-American Conference play at 1 p.m. against Northern Illinois.
