OXFORD, Ohio – Miami University’s women’s tennis team will travel to No. 39 Indiana on Saturday at 11 a.m. for its first road dual match of the season before returning home Sunday for a 3 p.m. match against IUPUI in Hamilton.

The RedHawks (3-0, 0-0 MAC) enter the weekend with a perfect dual match record while the Hoosiers stand at 5-0 through their five non-conference matches and the Jaguars are 0-5. IUPUI will take on Southeast Missouri State University at 8 a.m. on Saturday morning before facing Miami on Sunday.

Last weekend, the RedHawks turned in two straight dual match victories with a 7-0 sweep over Wright State followed by a close 4-3 victory against Cincinnati. Both matches were played in Hamilton, Ohio at the RedHawks’ indoor home at the Riverside Athletic Club. Miami enters their third weekend of match play with a 14-4 singles record as well as a 5-4 mark in doubles action.

Indiana has made their 2014 schedule look like a breeze so far, sweeping all five of their matches, 7-0. That includes an impressive victory last week over No. 23 Notre Dame as well as wins over Xavier and Cincinnati, schools which Miami has faced and defeated this season. Through five dual matches, Hoosier individuals have combined to go 25-5 in singles play and 10-3 on the doubles court.

IUPUI is still looking for their first match win of the 2014 season. The Jaguars enter their weekend slate with a 1-29 record in singles play and a 2-11 showing in doubles action, through five dual matches.

Miami returns to action next Saturday, Feb. 15 when they travel to North Texas for a 1 p.m. start and they wrap up the weekend road trip on Sunday, Feb. 16 with a 1 p.m. match at SMU.
