OXFORD, Ohio – A packed Bell Tower Place enjoyed a great meal served by the Miami hockey team at Rico’s Ristorante on Tuesday evening. The event was sponsored by the Blue Line Club.
An appreciative crowd gathered around the various stations at the campus restaurant. Delicious smoothies were concocted sophomores Michael Mooney, Kevin Morris and Taylor Richart. Patrons then moved to grab a healthy salad from sophomores Sean Kuraly and Alex Gacek.
Once inside, the hungry crowd had their choice of three different entrée stations. Pizza was dished out by sophomores Jay Williams and Ben Paulides along with junior Andrew Schmit. Hot wings were handed out by sophomore John Doherty and freshman Justin Greenberg. Finally, sophomores Chris Joyaux and Ryan McKay were front and center at the stir fry station, fixing orders for the long line of diners.
After dinner, patrons saved room for ice cream served up by senior Max Cook. In addition to the named group, several RedHawks spent the evening clearing away empty plates and trays. Many other players helped clean dishes in the back.
The diners also got to chat with the players and staff throughout the evening. The Blue Line Club thanks everyone who attended Rico’s Ristorante.
