OXFORD, Ohio—Miami women’s soccer senior midfielder/forward Katy Dolesh and junior defender Courtney Zanotti were named Second-Team All- East Region Scholars by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA).

This is among a list of postseason honors for Dolesh, who also earned NSCAA All-Region honors for the second time in her career earlier this year. Dolesh is a three-time All-Ohio honoree and a four-time All-MAC selection, earning first-team honors the last three years and second-team recognition as a freshman. A captain for the RedHawks, Dolesh tied for the team lead in goals with seven on the year to go along with two assists for 16 points. She tied for seventh among MAC leaders in goals. Dolesh owns a 3.46 GPA and majors in health studies.

Zanotti was a Second-Team All-MAC selection this season and anchored a Miami defense that set a program record for shutouts in a season, amassing 12. She played and started in all 21 games for the RedHawks and played a team-leading 1,928 minutes. Zanotti boats a 3.90 GPA and majors in middle childhood education.
