OXFORD, Ohio – The Miami University women’s basketball team is excited to announce the return of its Dollar Days promotion. The RedHawks’ next home game, on Tuesday, Nov. 26 at 7 p.m. against Duquesne will be the first of four Dollar Days games.

Admission is only $1 for all fans at Dollar Days games. Miami also partners with University Concessions to provide select concession items for only $2 apiece. The other Dollar Days games will be on Wednesday, Jan. 15 vs. Akron, Saturday, Jan. 18 vs. Northern Illinois and Thursday, Feb. 6 vs. Toledo.

The Dollar Days are only one of several promotions planned for Miami women’s basketball this season. On Saturday, Jan. 25 vs. Kent State, it will be Alumni Weekend with several former RedHawk stars in attendance. Thursday, Feb. 20 vs. Ball State is the annual Goals for Life game which will see Talawanda Middle School come to the Miami University campus for a day of activities, followed by a basketball game. The annual Class at the Court game for the Talawanda elementary school students is Wednesday, March 5 against Bowling Green. The final home game against Ohio on Saturday, March 8 will be Senior Recognition and Fan Appreciation Day.

The Saturday, March 1 game against Buffalo deserves special mention. Prior to the contest, it will be the popular KidsFest event, which features several Miami varsity and club teams putting on demonstrations and allowing kids to try the sports for themselves. It is also the Breast Cancer Awareness game, where the RedHawks will be attempting to raise money for this very important cause. In addition to all of these great promations, at the end of every Miami women’s basketball home game the team will remain on the court for 10 minutes to great fans and thank them for their attendance.
