Beallsville, Md. – The Miami men’s golf team will participate in the annual Georgetown Intercollegiate tournament this week. The tournament will take place at The Members Club in Four Streams with a par -71, 6,952 yard design. It will feature 36 holes on Monday and finish the final round of 18 holes on Tuesday.

“I’m very excited for our team this week,” said coach Zac Zedrick. “It’s an opportunity for us to go out and play a complete tournament.”

Playing for the RedHawks this tournament will be juniors Scott Cahill and Luke Shaughnessy, sophomore Jack Sparling, and seniors Mark MacDonald and Austin Kelly. They are a part of a twelve-team field that includes Georgetown, DePaul, UAB, Campbell, Notre Dame, Penn State, West Florida, Saint Joseph’s, William & Mary, Toledo, and Xavier.

“We’ve had good rounds and stretches throughout the fall, but the next step is for us to play at a high level the entire week,” said coach Zedrick. “I believe we’re ready to do just that.”
