The Miami University hockey team is ranked second in the nation in the USA Today poll. Miami had 463 points, trailing only Massachusetts-Lowell’s 473 points.

Miami University received the most first place votes (16) with Massachusetts-Lowell in second (13).

Miami opens the regular season this weekend with a pair of contests with Ohio State. Friday’s contest will be in Columbus, Ohio, while the two teams will square-off this Saturday in Steve Cady Arena. Both games are scheduled for 7:05 p.m.
