ZIONSVILLE, Ind. – The Miami men’s golf team will participate in the Wolf Run Intercollegiate tournament this weekend. The tournament will take place at the Wolf Run Golf Club with a par -71, 7,155 yard design. It will feature 36 holes on Saturday and finish the final round of 18 holes on Sunday.
"Wolf Run is one of the best golf courses in the country and the field is fantastic,” said coach Zac Zedrick. “It is another great measuring stick for our team.”
Playing for the RedHawks this tournament will be juniors Scott Cahill and Luke Shaughnessy, freshmen Greg Conrad and Jared Hammons, and senior Mark MacDonald. They are a part of a fourteen-team field that includes Auburn, Wisconsin, Illinois State, Indiana, IPFW, IUPUI, Kentucky, Minnesota, Northern Illinois, Oakland, Ohio, Toledo, and Illinois, the winning team of last year’s tournament.
“We've made progress each week and I anticipate that continuing for us," said coach Zedrick.
