The RedHawks have only faced two other current members from Conference USA. Miami is 1-0 versus Middle Tennessee State (2011 GoDaddy Bowl) and 1-0 versus Tulane (1967).

Preseason Predictions
The Miami RedHawks were picked to finish fifth in the East Division in the 2013 preseason poll by member of the MAC News Media Association. The Red and White recorded 78 points in the poll, trailing Ohio (164), Bowling Green (154), Kent State (119) and Buffalo (101. Trailing Miami were Akron (53) and UMass (29).

Just Win Baby
Fifth-year senior Austin Boucher is 4-0 in his career as a starter for the Miami RedHawks, including wins in the 2010 MAC Championship game and the 2011 GoDaddy Bowl versus Middle Tennessee State. In those four games he completed 88 of 141 passes (62.4%) for 990 yards and five touchdowns with just three interceptions.
