COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The National Collegiate Hockey Conference drops the puck for its inaugural season of competition in 2013-14 with a slate of 18 games to be televised nationally on CBS Sports Network. The schedule features 15 regular season conference games, as well as the NCHC Conference Semifinals and Championship.

Miami is scheduled to appear on CBS Sports Network five times during the regular season, including the league's first ever game on Oct. 18 when the RedHawks host North Dakota. Four of the five televised contests will take place at Steve Cady Arena. In addition to the game against UND, Miami's other home games that will air on CBS Sports Network are its non-conference game against Wisconsin Nov. 15 and NCHC games against Western Michigan Feb. 7 and St. Cloud State Feb. 21. Miami's lone road game to air nationally is at North Dakota Feb. 14.

The CBS Sports Network schedule kicks off with a double-header on Friday, Oct. 18 that features Miami's game against North Dakota, followed by Minnesota Duluth at Colorado College – puck drop times are to be determined.

The NCHC includes member institutions Colorado College, Denver, Miami, Minnesota Duluth, Nebraska Omaha, North Dakota, St. Cloud State, and Western Michigan.
