OXFORD, Ohio – Fans of Miami University Athletics should circle Saturday, Apr. 20, on their calendar. It’s the day of the Spring Showcase and it’s going to be a fun-filled afternoon for area families.

Both the RedHawk football and baseball teams will both be in action at home and admission is absolutely free.

Youth 14 and under will be invited to stretch on the field alongside members of the 2013 RedHawk football squad. The football practice – and scrimmage – will begin at noon at Yager Stadium.

There will be a live camera on the sidelines, with interviews including coaches and other surprise guests being featured throughout the practice on Yager's video board.

Fans are then encouraged to attend Miami’s baseball game against Ball State. It begins at 3 p.m. at Hayden Park, just a few blocks away from Yager. Several members of Miami’s Mid-American Conference championship teams from 1973 and 1983 will be reuniting at the game and will be introduced to the crowd.

Football ticket renewals will be mailed prior to the Spring Showcase. The Miami Athletic Ticket Office will have a table set-up on the west concourse at the Showcase for renewals and for new season ticket purchasers starting at 11 a.m. Fans also may call the ATO and order season tickets at 513-529-HAWK (4295).
