OXFORD, Ohio – With Miami Hockey’s final season in the Central Collegiate Hockey Association (CCHA) winding down, fans will have a chance to own a piece of history as the RedHawks are auctioning off game-worn jerseys from this year. Miami’s home white jerseys with the diagonal Miami written across the chest will be up for bid beginning Monday, April 1 through Wednesday, April 10 at 5 p.m.

The jerseys, which are modeled after Miami’s jerseys from the 1980s, will be available for auction here on MURedHawks.com beginning Monday. The RedHawks have worn the jerseys at home throughout the season, including when clinching the CCHA regular-season championship in the final regular-season game in CCHA history, and also in the CCHA Tournament at Joe Louis Arena. In addition to the diagonal Miami, the sweaters feature the CCHA logo below the right shoulder with solid red on the shoulders and two red stripes on the sleeves and at the bottom of the jersey.

A total of 26 jerseys will be available for auction (numbers 1, 2, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 14, 15, 16, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 32, 35, 44) though the name plates on the back will be removed. The minimum bid for a jersey is $200 with bids going up in increments of $20. A $15 shipping charge will be added for jerseys that need to be shipped or they can be picked up in person in Miami hockey equipment manager Andy Geshan’s office at Goggin Ice Center.

Fans can bid on an unlimited number of jerseys.
