OXFORD, Ohio - With the Miami University hockey team just days away from playing in its first outdoor game in program history, the RedHawks revealed the special jerseys they will don during Sunday's OfficeMax Hockey City Classic on Tuesday. Miami will suit up in the custom uniforms for its clash with CCHA rival Notre Dame, which will be held at Soldier Field in Chicago.

The RedHawks, who will be the home team against the Fighting Irish on Sunday, will wear one-game only sweaters that are tan with red trim and prominently feature the beveled "M" on the front. The shoulders of the jersey are red with tan numerals and tan letters for the nameplate on the back while red stripes adorn the sleeves and bottom of the jersey. The Bauer-made jerseys will also have an OfficeMax Hockey City Classic patch on the right side while senior captain Steven Spinell, who modeled the jersey Tuesday, will have his "C" on the left side overtop of a red patch in the shape of the state of Ohio. In addition, Miami will wear tan socks with red stripes to match the jerseys.

Puck drop for Sunday's contest between No. 3/3 Miami and No. 12/12 Notre Dame is set for 1 p.m. ET/noon CT. The game will be televised on Fox Sports Detroit, Fox Sports Ohio and several other Fox Sports affiliates throughout the country, barring a professional obligation with an NHL or NBA team.

The matchup between the RedHawks and Fighting Irish is just the first half of a doubleheader that also features WCHA foes No. 18 Wisconsin and No. 2/2 Minnesota, which begins at 3:30 p.m. CT. Tickets for the OfficeMax Hockey City Classic can be purchased through Ticketmaster.com.

Prior to Sunday's outdoor game, Miami will host Notre Dame on Friday in Oxford at Steve Cady Arena in the first game of the weekend series. Friday's contest is slated for 7:35 p.m. ET and will air nationally on CBS Sports Network.
