Junior forward Will Felder recorded his second double-double of the season with 17 points and a Miami career high of 13 rebounds. Both totals led all players. Felder also had a double-double against Ohio (Jan. 23) with 19 points and 10 rebounds.

Felder's 13 rebounds are the most by a Miami player this season. He had six offensive rebounds for the RedHawks, the total number of offensive boards by the Broncos.

It was the 10th straight game Felder has scored in double figures.

Freshman guard Geovonie McKnight made his first career start. Freshman guard Reggie Johnson returned back to the starting lineup, making his 14th start of the season.

With two steals against Western Michigan, junior guard Quinten Rollins moved into ninth place past Michael Bramos on Miami's career steal list. Rollins has 125 career steals.

Sophomore guard Will Sullivan tied a career high for steals with three. He also recorded three earlier this season at Wright State (Dec. 19).

Western Michigan entered the game ranked 18th nationally in rebounding margin, out rebounding its opponents by 7.8 rpg. Miami posted a 37-29 advantage on the boards. It is just the fourth time this season Miami has outrebounded an opponent.

The RedHawks amassed 17 offensive rebounds. It ties the most offensive rebounds Miami has recorded in a game this season, equaling the number the RedHawks hauled in off the offensive glass at NC State in the season opener on Nov. 9.

The Broncos shot 58.5 percent from the field.

Miami opened up a quick 13-2 lead to open the game. The Broncos then rattled off 12 unanswered points to take its first lead at 12:44.
